Keep in mind there are endless combinations we can configure for your Community Jackpot Board!
The CJB at location "X" is currently set to the "X" Paytable.
This means that the prize pool, or DECK OF CARDS that prizes are being pulled from has 2,000,000 entries. (or CARDS)
Each time a customer hits REVEAL with the CJB button active, they use an extra 2 points to participate in the CJB game.
We cannot “spin” the reels each time an entry is pulled, simply because of the volume of play. The solution is that behind the scenes, on the CJB engine, each time the customer uses the 2 points with their regular game, the CJB section of the software pulls the next entry from the prize pool (card from the deck) and determines if it is a winner or a non-winner. When a non-winner is pulled, nothing happens on the CJB display or anywhere else that is visible. The CJB engine simply discards that entry and goes to the next.
When the CJB pulls a winning entry, regardless of value, then the visual part takes place and the CJB display activates and “spins”.
The Caveman runs across screens and the sound track for the CJB plays.
Then the Caveman presents the prize to the winner.
So, in your case, the DECK OF CARDS [for just the CJB] at site "X" has:
There is a total of 2805 prizes greater than zero. That equates to 1,997,195 non-winning prizes.
That means you have a “cherry” prize awarded on average every 714.28 plays. But that is the AVERAGE… not a hard and fast, “OK let’s count-down to game #714 and get ready to win!” Which is the very reason we randomize the locations of the winning entries in the prize pool.
Sometimes there can be as few as 50 non-winning entries between winners, and sometimes there can be up to 2.5K non-winning entries between winners.
50 plays can go by quick with 15-20 players participating… making it “seem like” the CJB went off “BACK TO BACK”!
Even a gap as big as 1000 can go by quick with a lot of players playing…
